Labor Warranty
We offer a 1-year warranty on labor for all modifications and installations. This warranty covers any issues that arise due to workmanship errors during the installation or modification process.
If an issue occurs within the warranty period, we will assess and correct the problem at no additional cost.
This warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, unauthorized alterations, or natural wear and tear.
Material and Product Warranty
Customer-Supplied Materials: We are not responsible for defects in or failures of materials or products supplied by the customer. Customer-supplied bars warrantied for installation labor only. Parts and materials are not covered; any product warranty is provided separately by the manufacturer.
Install Mavens-Supplied Materials: 1-year workmanship warranty on all installations. Bars anchored to studs or solid blocking, mounted 33"–36" AFF, tested to full load on completion. Materials or products provided by Install Mavens will carry the manufacturer’s warranty. We will assist in coordinating warranty claims with the manufacturer, if needed.

Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or lack of maintenance.
- Repairs or modifications made by other parties after our work is completed.
- Issues arising from pre-existing structural or design conditions.
Scope of Service
What every Install Mavens quote and invoice covers — by service line. Installing Independence. Ensuring Safety.
Every quote states the exact scope for your job. This page is the master reference behind that scope — it defines what “installed” means for each service, what’s included in the price, and how we verify the work before we leave.
Unless your quote says otherwise, each installation includes materials as listed, all mounting hardware and anchors, labor, on-site verification and testing, and cleanup of the work area. Anything customer-supplied is installed under our labor warranty only.
Grab Bar Installation
What we do
- Furnish and install ADA-rated stainless grab bar(s), 250 lb minimum load rating (or install customer-supplied bars).
- Anchor to studs or solid blocking per ADA 609.3, maintaining 1.5" clearance from the wall.
- Mount 33"–36" above finished floor per ADA 609 unless a custom height is requested.
- Level, torque, and full-load test every bar; clean the work area.
Surfaces
Drywall, ceramic tile, and fiberglass/acrylic. We do not drill porcelain tile due to fracture risk; if a wall is porcelain, we'll flag it before starting and adjust the plan with you.
Ramps, Thresholds & Entry Modifications
What we do
- Build or install ramp/threshold to a 1:12 ADA slope guideline.
- Size landings for wheelchair turning where required.
- Add handrails per plan; fasten and load-test.
- Verify a safe transition at the door; clean the work area.
Final run length and any handrail additions are confirmed at the on-site measure, so pricing may adjust slightly after we verify the entry.
Bathroom Safety & Roll-In Shower Conversions
What we do
- Demo existing tub/shower components as scoped.
- Waterproof and install a roll-in/curbless base or new surround.
- Install grab bars, fold-down seat, and accessible controls per plan.
- Leak-test, function-check, and complete a full cleanup.
Conversions touch plumbing, waterproofing, and finish work, so we sequence the job in stages and confirm fixture selections before ordering. Any change after work begins is quoted in writing for your approval first.
Stair Lifts & Vertical Access
What we do
- Final-measure the staircase and order the lift to fit.
- Secure the rail to treads/stringer per manufacturer specification.
- Connect power and verify safe electrical operation.
- Fit-check the seat and rail; complete a full ride-test with you.
Lift equipment is ordered to your exact staircase, so the equipment portion is confirmed after final measurement.
Lighting, Fixtures & Appliance Installations
What we do
- Furnish or install customer-supplied light fixtures, fans, and small appliances.
- Connect to the existing circuit with proper wire connectors.
- Verify switch operation and secure mounting.
- Function-test and clean the work area.
If existing wiring is not to code or a circuit can't safely carry the new load, we stop and walk you through options before proceeding — nothing is done outside your approval.
Property Preservation — Turn / Make-Ready
What we do
- Turn/make-ready of vacant unit(s) per work order.
- Repairs, cleaning, and haul-away as scoped.
- Lock changes / securing where ordered.
- Photo-document each unit for your records.
Turn work is billed by unit and scope. Additional damage found on-site is photographed and quoted separately before we proceed.
Commercial & Multi-Family Cleaning
What we do
- Clean scoped areas to checklist, per visit.
- Supply labor, equipment, and consumables.
- Complete the unit/common-area checklist.
- Submit photos and notes for your records.
Recurring plans lock in your per-visit rate. Add-on deep-clean or post-turn work is quoted separately so monthly billing stays predictable.
What’s Included in Every Job
- All materials listed on your quote, plus mounting hardware and anchors.
- Labor by trained, insured installers.
- On-site verification, leveling/torque or function testing as applicable.
- Cleanup of the work area on completion.
